Wearable sensors are everywhere, and with the emergence of the Internet of Things we can only expect to see more and more sensors integrated into our everday life. While it is relatively easy to produce squiggly lines from these devices, it is much more difficult to determine how this wealth of data can be used to provide real solutions to problems related to spine and other musculoskeletal disorders.
At the Spine Research Institute, we incorporate a variety of sensing technologies into our various applications. Over many years we have built large databases and sophisticated models to help interpret this data in a way that is validated, reliable, and useful. Our technology platform is flexible so that a few sensors can be deployed in a turn-key fashion, or data from a variety of sensors can be combined together when a more complex solution is required.
