Marras Speaks at Titans of HFES Symposium

In early February, 2022, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society sponsored the The Titans of HFES Virtual Symposium.  It featured several of today's premier researchers, practitioners, and academicians in the HF/E discipline.

Dr. Bill Marras, one of the featured speakers and SRI's Executive and Scientific Director, spoke on, Our Journey to Understanding Causal Pathways for Low Back Disorders: Enabling Technology for Personalized Medicine.  Marras discussed the role that dynamic motion plays in loading the spine, both in terms of initial exposures and in determining spine health.  He also delves into the study of spine injury causal pathways from a biopsychosocial perspective.  You can watch his presentation here.
